Reframe
Adjust cropping, orientation, and composition to fit platform and ad format standards without losing model or product image quality.
What is Reframe?
Reframe lets you fine tune how your image is presented without generating a new one. You can change the aspect ratio to suit different formats (for example: square, vertical, or widescreen) while keeping attention on the model and product.
It’s also useful for preparing visuals for online stores and social platforms, or for expanding the background slightly to avoid awkward cropping.
How to Use It
Select an Image
Open a generated image from Gallery into Edit, or upload a new image in Edit. Any output from Try On, Model Swap, or Product to Model works.
Open Reframe
Click Reframe in the editing toolbar and pick a target ratio. Supported ratios include:
- 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 4:5, 5:4, 9:16, 16:9

Generate
Click Reframe Image.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Image | The image you want to reframe, opened from Gallery or uploaded in Edit. |
| Aspect ratio | Choose a target ratio to match marketplaces or social platforms. Supported: 1:1, 2:3, 3:2, 3:4, 4:3, 4:5, 5:4, 9:16, 16:9. |
Best Practices
- A popular workflow is to reframe to 9:16 aspect ratio before creating a video with Image to Video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
Troubleshooting
If your reframed image doesn’t look quite right, try the following:
- Subject duplicated → When changing between extreme aspect ratios (for example, from 9:16 to 16:9), the system may duplicate the subject and show them in different parts of the image instead of extending the scene. If this happens, reframe in smaller steps: first to a square format, then to the wider aspect ratio such as 16:9.
Where Next?
Now that your new framing is ready, consider:
- Upscale your image with Upscale in Gallery
- Export for web in Gallery
- Create motion‑ready video clips using Image to Video
