AI Assistant

The AI Assistant is a chat interface that lets you run Studio tools, analyze images, and build multi-step workflows through natural conversation.

What is the AI Assistant?

The AI Assistant is an AI-powered chat built into the FASHN app. Instead of manually selecting tools and filling in parameters, you describe what you want in plain language, and the assistant figures out which tools to run, in what order, and with what settings.

It can run any Studio tool, answer questions about FASHN features, and chain multiple tools together in a single conversation.

How to Access

Open the AI Assistant from the prompt on the Home Dashboard. Type your message, optionally attach an image, and press send.

How It Works

1. Send a message (with or without an image): Describe what you want, such as "put this dress on a model in a beach setting" or "upscale this image to 4K."
2. The assistant reasons: It selects the right tool(s), fills in parameters, and starts generation.
3. Results appear inline: Generated images and videos show directly in the chat.
4. Iterate: Ask for changes, and the assistant will run follow-up tools using the previous result as input.

What It Can Do

Run Any Studio Tool

The assistant can execute any Studio tool. Example prompts:

• "Generate an on-model image of this jacket" (Product to Model)
• "Try this shirt on the model from my last generation" (Try-On)
• "Swap the model for a young woman with curly red hair" (Model Swap)
• "Change the background to a minimalist white studio" (Edit)
• "Create a new face: woman in her 40s, warm skin, short natural hair" (Create Face)
• "Create a tall athletic male model in streetwear" (Create Model)
• "Remove the background" (Background Remove)
• "Reframe this to 9:16" (Reframe)
• "Swap the face to match this reference" (Face Swap)
• "Upscale 2x" (Upscale)
• "Turn this into a 5 second video" (Image to Video)

Analyze Uploaded Images

Upload an image with your message and the assistant can describe what it sees, suggest improvements, or recommend which tools to use.

Chain Tools in Multi-Step Workflows

Describe an end-to-end workflow and the assistant will execute tools in sequence:

• "Take this product photo, put it on a model, change the background to a cafe, and upscale the result."
• "Create a model, try on this dress, then make a video."

Answer Questions About FASHN

Ask about features, plans, credits, or how to use specific tools:

• "What resolution options are available?"
• "How does Face Reference work?"
• "What's the difference between Model Swap and Try-On?"

Deep Links to Studio

Every result the assistant generates includes a link back to Studio with the inputs pre-filled. Click the link to open the exact tool and settings in Studio, where you can fine-tune parameters or run variations manually.

Assistant vs. Studio

Both the AI Assistant and the Studio run the same tools, but they suit different workflows.

Use the Assistant when you want speed and flexibility. Switch to the Studio when you need precise parameter control or want to visually browse and branch from your generation history.

Tips

• Be specific with descriptions: "Young woman with short black hair, standing in a white studio" works better than "put on a model."
• Upload images with your messages: The assistant uses uploaded images as context for tool selection and parameter filling.
• Iterate on results: Ask for adjustments to the most recent result, just like a conversation.

Limitations

• Fetch external URLs or download images from the web
• Make account changes (billing, plan upgrades, API keys)
• Process video input (images and text only)
• Access tools outside the FASHN platform
