Reference images
An @ reference identifies a specific image in the current conversation. References are available for uploaded images, images selected from Gallery or Elements, and images generated earlier in the conversation.
Reference an image directly
Hover over an attached input or an image in Media history, then select its @ button. The image is added to the message box as a reference chip. Generated image results also include a Reference button below the result.
Selecting an image in Media history takes you to its position in the conversation. Selecting its @ button adds the image to the next message.
Choose an image from the message box
Type @ in the message box to open the image picker. Images are grouped into Inputs and Generations. Select an image to add it to your message as a thumbnail chip such as @input1 or @generation2.
Write the instruction
Add the instruction before or after the reference chips. For example, use one reference for a product and another for the model or setting where it should appear.
When a message includes several references, identify the role of each image, such as the product, model, or setting.
