Export for Web

Download optimized, web‑ready images. Export for Web produces files that balance quality and size for storefronts, email, and social.

What is Export for Web?

Export for Web prepares image downloads in web‑friendly formats that balance quality and performance. Use it from Gallery (single or bulk). For videos, use the regular Download control.

Regular Download vs Export for Web

Downloading from tools like Product to Model, Model Swap, or Edit saves the original‑quality image. To export web‑optimized images, use Export for Web in Gallery.

How to Use It

In Gallery (images only):

  • Click any image and choose Download (top‑right)
  • For multiple items, click Select, choose files, then Download
  • To export everything, use Select All and Download

When exporting a single image, open the settings dialog to review format and quality before exporting. Use the top-right download control to open the menu.

Open the download menu from Gallery

Adjust Settings and Export

In the export dialog:

  • Format: choose from Original, JPEG, PNG, or WebP
  • Quality: use the slider to adjust compression
  • Resolution and size: see the current image resolution and the estimated file size for the selected format and quality

Click Export to save with your chosen settings. You can use these settings as a reference before running a bulk export.

Adjust format, quality, and size before export

Each download includes web‑ready images for immediate use on storefronts, marketing channels, or social media.

Parameters

ParameterDescription
FormatChoose Original, JPEG, PNG, or WebP. PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPEG does not.
QualityCompression level for JPEG/WebP. Higher quality increases file size; lower quality reduces size but may add artifacts. The default WebP 95% is a good web baseline.

Best Practices

  • Use Gallery for bulk downloads to save time when exporting multiple assets
  • Upscale before export if you need higher resolution; export should be your last step
  • For web, prefer default settings (WebP format, 95% quality) to keep files around or under 1 MB; raw 4K images can exceed 10 MB and are not suitable for web
  • Need transparency? Choose Original (PNG) or WebP; JPEG does not support transparency

Troubleshooting

If you run into issues while downloading or exporting:

  • Exported image looks low-quality → Increase the quality slider in the export dialog before exporting.
  • Can’t find files after export → Check your default downloads folder or search by filename.
